William Hooper and Nicky Hambling purchased The George
Inn after falling in love with the historic,
picturesque village of St Briavels and the surrounding
area of outstanding natural beauty.
They continue to run the friendly pub themselves
and are proud to serve excellent home-made food based
on fresh, local produce.
The George enjoys a far-reaching reputation as a great
place to enjoy a meal and a drink. Fine real ales as
well as a full range of draught beers, lagers and ciders,
and a good wine list are all offered at competitive prices.
